It uses a new method of detecting the temperatures of the cylinder and other useful zones to make the temperature control of the entire production process more effective. It is not limited to traditional cylinder temperature control, but also highlights heat flows that are not detectable with current state-of-the-art systems.

It tells the operator what corrections need to be made to obtain a suitable thermal profile to put the extruder in the optimum operating condition.

By changing the turns of the screw, it specifies what corrections need to be made to the temperatures to define a new optimum thermal profile. It allows you to identify the limit operating conditions of the extruder. It allows the functional characteristics of different types of screws to be identified and compared. It makes it possible to view the behaviour of the material and thus the way in which plasticisation takes place over the entire length of the screw.

With the new system, the temperature control of the extrusion process in its entirety will be carried out according to subjective choices made by the operator; on the other hand, it will be carried out objectively by following the guidelines provided by the new temperature control system.
