It is possible to obtain significant energy savings by manufacturing the extruder using new systems and new design and construction criteria, many of which are patented. Energy savings of up to 20% can be achieved.

The new construction system can be applied to single-screw and twin-screw extruders. The new construction system can also be applied to already existing extruders in order to implement an overhaul with a technological update that enables the initial performance of the extruder to be exceeded.

There are no traditional cooling fans on the new extruder, as they are not necessary. Energy that is normally dispersed into the environment is recovered, preventing the extruder from becoming a source of heating.

The new design and construction system simplifies the construction of the extruder and, above all, facilitates the management of the entire extrusion process.

The energy savings made possible by the new type of extruder allow to obtain a flow in the plastic state with characteristics that make it more suitable for the next phase of calibration for pipes and profiles, made with a wide range of materials.
